Gateway Construction is honored to have another project selected as a finalist for the NAIOP Night of the Stars Awards! The 505 First Avenue Repositioning project has been selected as a contender for the “Redevelopment/Renovation of the Year”. This project, that combined modern technology with historic architecture, brought Hudson Pacific Properties’ Class-A trophy asset in Pioneer Square to new heights, as 505 First Ave. is now the first existing building to obtain the Core Green Building Certification from the ILFI (International Living Future Institute). This nomination is an incredibly exciting addition to our portfolio of projects that have been considered for the prestigious award; most recently, our multi-floor tenant improvement project for tech giant, Redfin, was selected as one of the contenders for Interior Project of the Year.

The beautifully designed reposition project included the addition of a rooftop pavilion, a complete gut and remodel of the building lobby and significant upgrades to the amenity spaces throughout the building. 505 First, a 288,000-square-foot Class A office building in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of Seattle, is the first existing building to obtain the highly rigorous Core Green Building certification from the International Living Future Institute (ILFI). Blending modern technology with historic architecture, 505 First boasts exceptional amenities, including a rooftop deck with panoramic views of downtown Seattle and the Puget Sound, while setting a new standard for sustainability and innovation.
