The view out onto the University of Washington campus is invigorating, and when your conference room has Seattle and the Space Needle as a backdrop, it feels like home.
These are just some of the reasons Carbon Design chose to relocate their headquarters to Russell Hall. Gateway was fortunate to work alongside Carbon Design and SkB Architects as a team from concept to reality to transform this full-floor build-out into a fun and inspiring work place. This project was delivered on time and under budget with Carbon Design’s unique flair evident throughout.
The space was taken from a bare core-and-shell condition to a full build-out. Features of the design include exposed concrete ceilings, white walls and doors, glass, white Corian cabinets, and a polished concrete floor. These elements are accentuated by Brazilian Ipe wood and specialty lighting. The combination of these design features leaves little doubt as to what Carbon Design is all about.
