This headquarters relocation project featured numerous signature design elements and maximized the benefits of the World Trade Center location with views of Elliot Bay, Mount Rainier, and Seattle.
Features included a custom petrified wood greenwall, curved walls and curved lights to create a welcoming entry atmosphere in the reception area, and Smart Glass for the conference rooms supporting flexible privacy by enabling users to “frost” the glass at the flip of a switch. Gateway provided budgeting, preconstruction coordination, pricing, demolition, and TI construction for the project. The preconstruction phase was shorter than a typical tenant improvement, and Gateway worked closely with the design team to refine scope and budgets and minimize assumptions and understanding of existing conditions to ensure a smooth construction buildout.
