Gateway interviewed with three other general contractors for the Washington State University Connections project and was awarded the project based on our competitive pricing and ability to demonstrate our understanding of the retail improvement design and building infrastructure.
The construction schedule was speculated to be a 60 day retail tenant improvement schedule from start to substantial completion. Gateway was mobilized and working on various nights and weekends to complete the work. The TI consisted of demolition to the existing space, with full interior build out designed for retail sales in the downtown core, and exterior upgrades including signage and glazing.
